A unique theatrical concept by Himalayan Sunset, staged live in a bar. Echoes of Us is a stage drama performed every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday throughout August 2026, 6:54 PM onwards, at Watering Hole, Jhamsikhel. Every ticket comes with a complimentary mock-tail. Short Synopsis: Four former classmates reunite after nearly ten years at a newly opened cafe owned by Fanny, who has returned to Nepal after years of working abroad. What begins as a nostalgic evening filled with jokes, memories and old friendships slowly unfolds into an emotional reckoning. Each carries invisible wounds: Anamika lives with guilt over the disappearance of their friend Subas, Biren struggles through repeated business failures, Rose chases a fading dream of becoming an actress, and Fanny hides his loneliness behind his apparent success. As conversations shift between the present and fragmented memories of school and college, long-buried truths surface. Old love triangles, jealousy, misunderstandings and silence are revealed to have shaped not only Subas’s tragic loss but the emotional distance between them. Set against the backdrop of a changing Nepal, where an entire generation questions migration, politics, identity and hope, THE ECHOES OF US becomes a meditation on friendship, forgiveness and the courage to begin again. Log line: Against the backdrop of a changing Nepal, four estranged friends reunite after a decade in a cafe, where the memory of a classmate’s sudden and unprecedented disappearance forces them to confront the love, guilt, failures, and unfinished lives they have carried since youth and to discover whether healing begins by changing the past or accepting it.
